BRIDCUTT DESTINED FOR GREATNESS

The Brighton and Hove Albion manager Gus Poyet has said that he feels that the midfielder Liam Bridcutt is destined for greatness and can even play for the Spanish club Real Madrid, who are one of the biggest clubs in the world. The 23-year-old midfielder was one of the best players for Brighton in recent match against Newcastle. Gus Poyet had taken his team to the Community stadium in the hope of making it into the fourth round of the FA Cup. They managed to win against Newcastle against all the odds and will now be playing against either Swansea or Arsenal in the fourth round.

Even though Bridcutt was not on the scoresheet for Brighton, he was one of the influential players for the club on the pitch. This led to him being named as the man of the match. Despite coming into the match on a poor run of form, Newcastle were formidable opposition for any club in the third round. However, Brighton managed to put aside their recent poor run of form to make it into the fourth round. The club are currently outside the play-off position after making a good start to the season, which withered out in the last few months. Poyet will also be hoping to get his team back into the top six.

“Yes, I am worried by Liam’s performance. Other clubs can ask about him because it’s part of the game. If I was coach of Real I would take him because he deserves to go to the highest level. As a holding midfielder, there is no better player in the division. So he is quite expensive,” said the Brighton manager. Aside from the win against Newcastle, Brighton have managed just four victories in the last two months and it has been the reason for their ninth position in the table.
