COYLE: PERFECT CHRISTMAS GIFT IF WE WIN

Blackburn Rover manager Owen Coyle believes his team can head into Christmas happy with a win over Reading on Saturday.


Blackburn Rovers who play Reading in what would be their last home game of 2016, would be looking to win having tasted defeat twice this week.

The midweek loss to at Brighton see Blackburn Rovers return once again into the relegation zone; hence, the manager knows that a win over Reading on Saturday would give them a much needed boost to move up the table. Coyle said: “In the build-up to Christmas it would be great to sign off with a win; so it is an opportunity now to look, to bounce back quickly and go and look to win a tough game against Reading.”

Coyle praised reading for investing in their team and believes their form can be attributed to the fact that the club spent money to bring in players than can improve the team’s overall performance. He went on further to describe reading as a good technical team who like to pass and move the ball around.

On his team preparedness for the Saturday’s encounter, Coyle said his side would be ready and attack the Royals anytime the opportunity presents itself.

For Blackburn, Saturdays match with reading is an opportunity the club needs to get a valuable three points that would see them exit the relegation zone; hence the team would be looking to give their all when they welcome reading to Ewood Park on Saturday.

For Blackburn Supporters a win over Reading would be a perfect gift for Christmas seeing that the match would be Blackburn Rovers last game for 2016. Although the game promises to be a tactical, it would be interesting to see Owen Coyle and his team round of 2016 in grand style.
